Yvonne "Beth" Ramp Obituary

With deep love and respect, we honor the life of Yvonne Warmbier “Beth” Ramp, 60, of Plano, Texas, formerly of Three Oaks, who passed away April 25th, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer.

Beth was born on January 1, 1964, in Caro, Michigan. Despite the many challenges life threw her way, she always faced them with grace and courage, a testament to her resilient spirit. She was a vibrant soul, whose life was marked by her love for others and her unwavering strength. She spent her life in various places around the world, from Northville, Michigan to Shanghai, China and finally to Plano, Texas. Beth had a great sense for adventure. As a former flight attendant well-versed in travel and with her natural skill in foreign languages, she was fluent in Mandarin, she explored other countries with zeal.

She was a passionate woman, known for her loving nature and her dedication to her work. She served the State of Michigan for ten years as a Sales Representative in China and later as an Operations Manager for more of her career. Most recently, she worked as a home caregiver and provided a light for those in need. Her work brought her great satisfaction and enabled her to touch many lives. While working in China, she adopted two beautiful daughters who were her whole world.  was a loving mother to

Arianna (Taylor Bird) and Isabella, and a cherished aunt to Simon Whalls. She was also a beloved sister to Marie Warmbier-Smith. Her love extended to her fiancé, David Gillespie, and her faithful canine companion, Jake.

As we remember Beth, we find solace in the Christian verse, 2 Corinthians 5:1: "For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands." Beth's life was indeed a testament to this verse; she lived her life with a strength and resilience that was truly inspiring. She was welcomed into her heavenly home by her mother, Carol Warmbier; her brother, Jason Warmbier; and her grandparents, Charles and Irene Skove. Her spirit lives on in her father, Daniel Warmbier (Nancy Batig), and all who knew and loved her.
