Shamra Dell Zabonick

Shamra Dell Zabonick, 61, of Dowagiac, died Sunday, December 29, 2024.

Her life began December 29, 1963 in Granbury, Texas, the only child of Robert and Juanice Anderson.

Shamra enjoyed country music.  She worked in various positions with different companies over the years, but most recently she was a Custodian with EVS.  She was a kind and considerate person, but a person would not walk away from her without knowing what she truly thought. She loved helping others.

Shamra will be greatly missed by family and friends.  She is survived by one daughter, Kalley (Jacob Strickland) Zabonick of Dowagiac; one son, Nathan (Lauren) Zabonick of Florida; two grandchildren, Azrael Wallace, Jonah Zabonick and a host of cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.           

The family will observe a private remembrance.
