Roger Ellis Moore, 92, of Cassopolis, died August 25, 2024. His life began January 3, 1932 in South Bend Indiana born to Richard and Freida Moore.
Roger served eight years in the United States Navy during and after the Korean Conflict.
His civilian career included the Studebaker and Bendix Corporations in Indiana. Roger was the owner of two gas stations in the Central Florida area, and retiring from the City of Orlando as an Inspector.
In the course of his life, his hobbies included Alligator hunting in the Wekiwa Springs Basin., Scuba Diving for sunken treasure, Deer hunting, Stock Car Racing, Commercial Saltwater fishing, raising tropical fish and gardening. Roger was an expert in Self Defense, a Marksman, Mechanic, Negotiator, Salesman and so much more. He was our Navy Seal and made his family proud. He was the strongest man in world and loved by so many.
Roger will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by three daughters, Cheri Moore, Christine Moore, Linda Moore; two sons, Brent Moore, Craig Moore; and several grandchildren.
The family will observe a private remembrance.
