Rex Alan Beal

Rex Alan Beal, 67, of Vandalia, died peacefully Monday July 22, 2024.

His life began February 9,1957 in Muncie, Indiana, the only child born to Ruth Ann Beal.

Rex, aka Pops, lived life on his own terms. He had his own way and there was no changing it.  He loved being out in the woods and with his dog Dutchess. Rex could often be found out at the BBQ fixing up about anything, including pizza, brats, pork chops, ribs and chicken. He was a jack of all trades. He learned to do about anything all on his own.

Rex will be greatly missed by family and friends.  He is survived by one daughter, Kristi Wares of Elkhart, Indiana; two sons, Jerome (Marianne Behrends) Wares of Vandalia, Justin (Krystal Dunham) Wares; ten grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Ann Beal.

 A Barbeque will be held in his honor on a date and at a time to be announced.

Rex will be laid to rest in Bogue Street Memorial Garden in Vandalia, Michigan.
