Patricia Kay Black

Patricia Kay Black, age 71, of Cassopolis, died July 14, 2024. Her life began August 9, 1952 in Baltimore, Maryland. 

When Patricia was young, she was an opera singer who would sing in Croatian.  She continued to love singing and at Christmas would sing Silent Night to her family in Croatian. She loved family dinner and game nights. Also, when she was younger, she modeled and loved it. Patricia traveled in her youth and was inspired to live a life worth living. The love of her life was her Husband Alfred James Black Sr. Patricia loved watching Sci-fi Movies and Shows.  Her favorite to watch was The Walking dead with her daughter Shanna. She was known to be independent with a strong personality.  But first and foremost, Patricia loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

Patricia will be greatly missed by family and friends.  She is survived by one daughter, Shanna Marie Black; son in law Calvin J Bosworth; grandson Calvin J Bosworth II; son, Alfred James Black Jr.; grandson Arias Zander Black and granddaughter Trinity Perdue.

The family will observe a private remembrance.
