Muriel Joan Romig

Muriel Joan "Moe" Romig, 92, of Sebring, Florida, formerly of Marcellus and Cass City, Michigan died peacefully Tuesday, September 12, 2023 in the comfort of her family’s presence.

Her life began August 19, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Otto and Margaret (Brunke) Hering.  She married Gerald J. Romig in 1952.  After fifty-seven years of marriage, he preceded her in death in 2010.   

Moe will be greatly missed by family and friends.  She is survived by two sons, David Romig of Sebring, Florida, Alan (Cathy) Romig of Bay City, Michigan, and two grandchildren, Brittany Romig and Katie Romig.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and her older brother, Robert Hering.

Family and friends will gather at the graveside Friday, October 6, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in Bly Cemetery in Marcellus, Michigan where Muriel will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Gerald.
