Misty Lynne Rupchock

Misty Lynne Rupchock, 44 , of Dowagiac, died Sunday April 13, 2025.

Her life began September 8, 1980 in Elkhart, Indiana, the only child of Mark Rupchock and Jane Haukaas-Black.

Misty graduated from Edwardsburg High School in 1999. She worked at Maple Café as a server for many years. Misty was ecstatic to play games with her children, such as, Skipbo, Parcheesi and sometimes a game she highly edited called Maui. She could often be found hanging out with friends and doing crafts. Misty enjoyed cooking and baking, especially at the holidays, making goodie bags. Most of all just spending time with her family.

Misty will be greatly missed by family and friends.  She is survived by one daughter, Isabella Gartland; one son, Mark Gartland; Aunt, Vicky (Larry) Morse; father of her children, Karl Gartland; niece, Jalynn Gartland and nephew John Gartland IV. She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Misty’s life on a date and at a time to be announced.
