Michael D. Dicarlo

Michael David Dicarlo, 55, of Dowagiac, died peacefully May 28, 2024 in the comfort of his family’s and friend’s presence.

His life began March 15, 1969 in Providence, Road Island, the oldest of three children born to Albert Dicarlo and Darlene Picozzi.

Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, and working on cars.  He was one of the best people you would ever meet.  He would give the shirt off his back if someone needed it.  He cherished his children and his puppy, Mocha.    

Michael will be greatly missed by family and friends.  He is survived by one daughter, Alex (Jocelyn) Dicarlo of Amarillo, Texas; two sons, Justin Dicarlo, Stefan Dicarlo, both of Amarillo, Texas; his mother, Darlene Picozzi of Rhode Island; seven grandchildren, AJ, Jarrod, Tyler, Mel’annie, Tracie, Kloe, Hayden; one sister, Michelle Dicarlo; his beloved puppy, Mocha; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by father and his sister, Karen Shipman.

The family will observe a private remembrance.
