Kimberly R. Mathews

Kimberly R. Mathews, 60, of Vandalia, died peacefully Monday, December 29, 2025 in her home.

Her life began January 11, 1965 in Elkhart, Indiana one of four children born to Donald Neff and Catherine Holcomb.  She married Stevan M. Mathews October 4, 2014 in Vandalia, Michigan.

Kim was a workaholic and a home body.  For the most part, she and Stevan enjoyed going to work and coming home to just be together.

Kim will be greatly missed by family and friends.  She is survived by her husband, Stevan M. Mathews of Vandalia; daughter, Chelsea Mathews of Alabama; sons, Stevan Mathews, Tristan Mathews, both of Coumbus, Ohio; brothers, Michael Neff of Ohio, and Wayne Neff of Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Karen Laws.

The family will observe a private remembrance.
