Kimberly Louise Brown, 55, died peacefully Friday, February 14, 2025 in the comfort of her family’s presence.
Her life began January 31, 1970 in Chicago, Illinois, the eldest of four children of Eddie and Helen Mose.
Kimberly was a huge presence in the Village of Cassopolis. Following in the footsteps of her uncle Daniel Lee, she dedicated her life to giving back to the youth of the community. “Miss Kim” as many knew her, had a huge heart and love for everyone. She loved her family and was proud to be a “Lee.” A godly woman, Kim would call herself, “BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED.” Everyone she touched will remember her infectious smile that would light up the room.
Kimberly will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Imani Brown; four sons, Nicholas (Emily Quinn) Davis, Damien (Devan Hillyer) Brown, Jr., Trevon Brown, Tymari (Katie Purlee) Brown; six grandsons, Adam Quinn, Corbin Davis, Trace Davis, Angelo Brown, Amir Brown, Damari Brown; her parents, Eddie and Helen Mose, Sr.; one sister, Katina (Adrian) Clabin; two brothers, Eddie Mose, Jr., Diriki Mose; three nieces, Ky’ana Buck, Akira Mose, Zaire Mose; two nephews, D’Lan Mose, Ky’ante Buck; and one great nephew, Kalon Buck.
She was preceded in death by one son, Davon Brown; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Family and friends will gather Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. in Church of Cassopolis, 520 Pearl Street, Cassopolis.
