Kevin Gregg Richardson

Kevin Gregg Richardson, 65, of Cassopolis, transitioned peacefully from this life into the arms of his savior Jesus Christ, in the comfort of his family’s presence, Tuesday January 14, 2025.

His life began June 15, 1959 in Niles, the younger of two children born to Albert and Patricia Richardson.  He married Beverly Bonine in 1979 at the Cassopolis United Methodist Church.  She survives.

 Kevin was a Cassopolis Ranger, he played in the band, graduating in 1977. He was on the Cassopolis school board for three years while his daughters were in school. During that time, he had the honor to present them both with their diplomas. Kevin retired from Manufacturing Technology after working there for over thirty years. He had the opportunity to travel across the world for his work, going to France, Russia, and many times to China. In his younger years, you could often find Kevin playing tennis with his friend Scott Marshal. He was also an avid Notre Dame and Bears fan. Kevin played trumpet and guitar and loved to listen to and play all kinds of music. Kevin and Beverly would go out together with friends to listen to bands and dance. They also shared time together on their motorcycle riding with friends. Kevin was loyal to his family, friends, and his work. He spent many nights stargazing and watching for UFOs. He was a dreamer who liked to work to make his dreams come true. Kevin loved his family and was the best Papa ever.

Kevin will be greatly missed by family and friends.  He is survived by wife, Beverly Richardson of Cassopolis; two daughters, Erica (Matthew) Parmelee of Osceola, Indiana, Tara (Joseph) Powell of Wakarusa, Indiana; five grandchildren, Blake, Alexis, Bryce, Jackson and Raelyn; one great grandson, Dallas; one brother, Michael (Vickie) Richardson; and four nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends will gather Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 12:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for a Rock and Roll Memorial at 63155 Dailey Road, Cassopolis,
