John Allen Harper, 61, of Benton Harbor, died Thursday, February 8, 2024.
His life began January 6, 1963 in Benton Harbor, Michigan, the middle of five children born to Donald and Ann Harper.
John was an avid Michigan football fan. He loved to hunt, fish, and spend time outdoors. He listened to classical rock often, and enjoyed watching old western movies. He liked to tinker with cars; Chevy Blazers specifically. John loved his cats.
John will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by sister, Kimberly (Jamie Riley) Harper of Coloma; brothers, Donald (Cheryl) Harper, Jr. of Grand Junction, Jeffery (Nancy) Harper of Seattle, Washington, Joseph Harper of LaPorte, Indiana; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Dennis Harper.
The family will observe a private remembrance.
