Joanne Hall

Joanne Hall, 74, of Vandalia, died peacefully Tuesday, May 27, 2025, in the comfort of her family’s presence. Her life began December 2, 1950 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, the second of four children born to Ellis and Bernice Lofton.

Joanne will be greatly missed by family and friends.  She is survived by one daughter, Tracy Lofton; one son, Leroy Hall, Jr.; three grandchildren, Donte Lofton, Jordan Lofton, Adonis Hall, great grandchildren, Charles Lofton, Jamar Smith, brothers, William “Uncle Paul” Lofton, Ellis J. Lofton, Sr.; sister-in-law, Odessa Lofton; and a host of nieces and nephews, with one special nephew, Quetin Lofton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter, LeQueshia DeNae Wyatt; and one brother, Charles W. Lofton.

The family will observe a private remembrance.
