James “Jim” Murray, age 73, of Three Oaks, died peacefully Monday, September 27, 2021, at the Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville with his loving wife, Nita, and brother, Darrell, and several family members by his side.

His life began September 21, 1948, in Michigan City, Indiana, born to Glen and Emily (Eggert) Murray. He married Nita Sue Zboril February 12, 1983, in her parent’s, Leonard and Joyce Zboril, home in Union Pier, Michigan.

He was an outdoorsman that loved hunting and fishing.  He also enjoyed working on SUDOKU and was an avid sports fan.  Go Blue was proudly displayed throughout the house along with his passion for the Bears, White Sox and University of Michigan. Jim loved music, especially Pink Floyd.  When he wasn’t watching sports or hunting, he and Nita would watch movies. He will be remembered for being a huge Civil War buff and collection of memorabilia.
