Gary Burnham Obituary

Gary Lynn Burnham, of Mesa, AZ, went to be with his Lord and Savior August 19, 2021. He was born March 6, 1942 in Detroit, MI, to Ralph and Betty Burnham and was raised in Spruce, MI. Gary earned a degree at California State University, Northridge, and worked as an engineer at Webster Industries. Gary enjoyed working with his hands and repairing anything that needed repair as well as learning anything technical. He enjoyed square-dancing and God’s natural beauty by being outdoors gardening, hiking, walking, biking, birding, visiting national parks, and watching wildlife, storm fronts, sunrises and sunsets. Gary loved his family, friends and studying and growing in the Lord. Gary had many volunteer positions over the years and always had a positive “can do” attitude and looked for a person’s strengths instead of weaknesses.

Gary was greeted in heaven by his parents, Ralph and Betty. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 30 years, Kay Burnham; son Eric (Renata); step-sons Thomas (Lori) Hoag and David (Julie) Hoag; grandchildren Joanna, Cailyn, Cody, Jacob, Zachary and Nicholas; brother Leslie (Nancy); sister Kathy McNeil and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Gary will be Saturday September 11, 2021 at 11:00 am at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery, 7900 E. Main St., Mesa AZ 85207.
