Frank Allen La Lone

Frank Allen La Lone, 78, of Taylorsville, North Carolina, formerly of Three Oaks, passed away, Tuesday, December 29, 2024, with his twin brother, Fred, at his side. 

His life began October 3, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan, of eight children, of Arthur and Fern La Lone. He married Linda Miller. After thirty-eight years she preceded him in death. 
    
The family moved to Three Oaks on January 1, 1957. Frank graduated from Three Oaks High School in 1965. During his hard-working career, Frank was a truck driver for Marathon Petroleum Corporation, and later worked for Auto Zone. Outside of his career, Frank found joy in flying RC airplanes, strumming guitars, working on cars, and spending peaceful hours fishing. 
    
Frank will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by three grandchildren, Neil La Lone, Ashley D. (Dylan) La Lone, Austin (Carley) La Lone, and Conner La Lone; one great-grandchild, Jayden Clippinger; one brother, Fred (Sharon) La Lone; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents;
three sons, Eric A. La Lone, Robert La Lone, Gregory E. La Lone; 
one sister, Irene Shedrow; and five brothers, Jack Olson, Elmer Olson, James La Lone, and twins, Don and Ron Megge. 

The family led a funeral service in January in Taylorsville, North Carolina.
