Cheryl Rae Stigger

Cheryl Rae Stigger, 65, of Vandalia, died peacefully Friday evening, April 19, 2024.

Her life began December 12, 1958 in Kokomo, Indiana the youngest of two daughters born to Richard and Vera Conwell.  She married Ronald Bernard Stigger in Kokomo, Indiana.

Cheryl was fun loving. She was the captain of the Serenity and spent a lot of time of the lake. She enjoyed spending time at the sand bar on Paradise Lake where she loved to get out, enjoy the view and direct traffic. Cheryl was known for always communicating her thoughts effectively. Everyone always knew where she stood.              

Cheryl will be greatly missed by family and friends.  She is survived by her husband who she put up with for thirty four years, Ronald B. Stigger of Vandalia; one daughter, Cherice Nicole Stigger; two sons, Rommel Eugene Stigger, Justin Maurice (Pamela) Stigger; two grandchildren, Sabrial and Izzy Stigger and one sister, Diane Phillips.

The family will observe a private remembrance.
