Beverly Joy (Wolkins) Mabry

Beverly Joy Mabry, 81, of Three Oaks, died Saturday, June 17, 2023.

Her life began May 9, 1942 in Weesaw Township, Michigan, the oldest of four children of Stanley and Margaret Wolkins. She married Everett “Larry” Mabry November 25, 1961 in Galien, Michigan.

Beverly cherished her family, especially her grandchildren.  She loved spoiling them and chasing them around.  She was a caregiver to many, helping and assisting others for several years.  She enjoyed cooking and was very good at it.  She liked going to the lake, but she didn’t like going on the boat. 

Beverly will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Larry Mabry of Three Oaks; son, Chad (Tara) Mabry of Buchanan; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; her mother, Margaret Wolkins of St. Joseph; sister, Diane (Terry) Hein of Galien; brother, Jack Wolkins of Galien; nieces, Shelley Branch, Debbie Hershberger, Cindy Bly; nephews, Scott Dalrymple, Chris Wolkins, and Brian Wolkins; and a host of cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father; her daughter, Tanya Rogers; her sister, Carol Darlymple; and her sister-in-law, Sue Wolkins.

Family and friends will gather at a later date and time, to be announced.

Beverly will be laid to rest in Galien Township Cemetery.
