Obituary

Leo Allen Smith, Sr., age 73, of Cassopolis, died peacefully Saturday, May 16, 2020 in his residence.

He was born March 17, 1947 in Warsaw, Indiana, one of five children of George and Dorothy Smith Sr.

Leo will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his companion of thirty-five
years, Wendy Michel; two daughters, Kimberly (Charles) Becker, Denice Everett; one son, Leo A. Smith, Jr.; several grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia Ernsburger, Marsha Jean Robertson; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Carol Cradough; and one brother, George A. Smith, Jr.

Family and friends will gather for a memorial service on a date and at a time to be announced when he will be accorded Military Honors.
